What a charming piece of discount turn of the century porcelain.
Made by Saxe in Austria Between 1896 and 1910 and imported to the US by Charles Ahrenfeldt.
This plate is entirely hand-painted with a wonderful meadow scene complete with shepherd, sheep, flowers, fences, trees and green grass.
The plate has a slightly scalloped edge trimmed in dark green.

Perfect to display in a baby's room or use at Easter time to welcome spring!

Condition is excellent - no chips, cracks, repairs, or crazing. There is minor paint loss around the rim consistent with age and use.
