Lovely vintage George Zee discount wooden jewelry box, made in Hong Kong. Serial number and metal tag underneath for authenticity. Well known mid century modern brand. VINTAGE CHINESE ROSEWOOD JEWELRY BOX BY GEORGE ZEE. Condition is vintage used good condition: please look through photos for wear and tear to interior fabric, which has wear and flaws from use including some discoloration on ring section and middle section of flat drawer without ring section. Also took a photo of minor spots on top of item, see picture three for top. Lid opens and closes easily. Drawers open and close but sometimes stick so I may push one drawer in then the other, it just takes a second to learn how it works. This item is beautiful, the blue fabric still shines and though I am not the owner, it smells like a vintage item but does not reek of cigarette smoke. The metal work has beautiful engraved flowers.
