Antique Ottman Brothers Stoneware Jug

Salt glazed stoneware, late 1800's
Handle on one side
Color is a light grey

Stamped in blue near the top on front
"Ottman Bro Fort Edward N Y"
Believe this is a 2 gallon jug.

12" Tall, approximately 23 1/2" circumference
around the middle of jug. Underside of jug
6 3/4" discount diameter. 1" diameter top opening.
Jug weighs a little under 6 pounds

Condition: some of the blue paint on the
lettering has faded through the years.
During the manufacturing there are some
faint blue splotches on the body of jug.
Minor manufacturing flaws. Wear on the
underside (dark spots), also around the
top opening.
