Military Canteen Drinking Cup Insulated Canvas Cover and Belt WW2 Korea World War 2 and Korean War era canteen, cup, cover and belt. The canteen is marked Vollrath 1944 and is lightly dented in several places especially under the cover snaps. There is a disc of cut plastic packaging used as a gasket. The cup is marked U.S. T.A.C.U. Co 1945 (The Aluminum Cooking Utensil). The cup handle is moderately corroded. The insulated cover is marked "Covers Canteen Dismounted M,1910 74.C.300 (illegible) 1953. The belt is an M1936 style pistol belt but is unmarked except for a U.S. stencil. Some of the hole rivets are corroded. Both the cover and the belt have the discount name Evans written in marker. Everything is lightly dented, worn, or discolored. Please see the pictures! XPSU2302.
