This double layer "quilted" fleece blanket and pillow set features trucks and cars driving all over the roads. This 41 1/2"x 53" blanket has two layers; the lime road way side and the red back side. I layer my fleece blankets and they turn them right side out, stitch around the outside edge and then quilt them like a regular quilt! I quilted every road in the blanket and around all of cars and trucks. The quilting holds it together better when driving their cars over the roads and when Mom washes the blanket.
The matching pillow is 14" x 15" and is lined with cotton sheeting to keep the fiber fill from working it's way through to the outside.

When you “tie” a fleece blanket, you lose 12” – 14” of the blanket. So, since I am a quilter at heart, I've taken two layers of fleece, sewn them with right sides together, turned them right side out and then quilted around the border and throughout the design pattern in this blanket. This gives you a stronger more stable full size blanket…with no fuzzy ends in your face! My sports blankets all come with a 16” matching pillow.
