50s NAUTICAL print dress in BROWN, white, blue and yellow cotton - Mid Century discount NOVELTY anchor, ship and compass full skirted day dress - xs

Perfect little nautical 50s number by Lavinia. Novelty print in brown, yellow, white and blue discount with a grid/stripe pattern of what looks like a design of tromp l'oeil ship boards with yellow bolts, in which are inset small nautical motifs - anchors, ships, compasses, ships wheels. Dress has a fitted sleeveless bodice with three large buttons to the back. Small hugging waistline and a classic 50s full skirt. It fastens with a side metal zipper. Bodice finished with blue interfacing fabric, but dress is otherwise unlined. Crisp cotton.

Dress is pictured with a petticoat which is not included in the sale.

The dress is labeled a size 36 but fits approx like a XS-S. For your best fit please refer to the measurements.

CONDITION
Very good condition.
-There is a very faint crease line around the hem, where I think this was rehemmed and then let back out at some point. It's super slight and not visible when worn. The current hem looks like the original hem.
