This fabulous bowl is decorated in cherries so of course I had to enamel it cherry red!. Vintage silver plate resurfaced in food safe color. 13' length perfect for fruit, rolls, vegetables at your next dinner party! Beautiful wedding gift.

The color is a powder coat that has been fired on in a kiln and covers all surfaces of the original silver plated piece. There is a tiny crystal in each piece that covers the hold where I hang the pieces in the kiln. FOOD SAFE and dishwasher safe although I do suggest hand washing, do not use metal in microwave.

Hi, I am a Master Silversmith who also is an antique dealer. I have always loved the beauty of antique silver plated and aluminum serving pieces and the attention to detail that we do not have now a days. I wanted to find a way to make the antique contemporary. So one night I had a dream where the pieces were all in wonderful colors. It took 3 months to do my research and development of this new collection. It is environmentally safe, copyrighted and unique. I am the only person in the Country doing this as a business and Each piece is a one of a kind. Any little "flaws" like tiny dents or warps were accumulated over the many years that the piece was used and loved by previous families. Many of these objects are over a hundred years old and you never have to polish again!
