Vintage 1960's Goldtoned Silver Filagee & Enamel Portuguese Caravel Souvenir of discount the Azores

This souvenir brooch is a discount fine example of the detailed silver work of Portuguese jewelers. The brooch features a Portuguese caravel with red enamel crosses on its triangular sails. Also there is an enameled cartuesch across the bottom that reads "AÇORES". The silver filagree has a gold wash that is in very good condition. The brooch measures 2 1/4 inches across and 1 3/4 inches tall.
