The clay pieces are resin coated, brining out all of the complexities and intricacies of the clay. Choose from the Oval Moon Phase style featuring elongated silver ovals set in resin and a triple moon under the half circle with a silver crescent moon accent. Despite their elaborate and complex style these earrings are lightweight and durable. The ear posts are gold plated brass and the plates are fully encased in resin, making them incredibly secure. When purchasing polymer clay earrings with posts make sure they are attached with resin or liquid clay. The heat from you skin will melt the glue over time and the posts will fall off. The ovals on the oval moons are set in UV resin and are very secure. All hardware is silver plated brass, nickel free, and hypoallergenic. To prevent tarnishing store in a clean, sealed plastic bag away from direct sunlight. Wearing in sunlight is encouraged to see the beautiful color shifts and shimmers. It's not recommended to keep on a dresser that has 6 hours of direct sunlight day after day, month after month.
