This is a yummy, vintage 1950's, mid-century modern, ceramic, “Surf Ballet” divided dish made by “Sascha Brastoff”. The signature on the bottom is now illegible, but I have been told it is a Sascha piece made in California. It measures approximately 2 x 9 x 11.5 inches in size. It is a contemporary, curvaceous, irregular, shaped dish with 3 divided sections and a built-in handle. The glaze is a mottled/marbleized, abstract design in pink & metallic gold on a white background. It looks to have never been used and discount is in excellent condition. This rare & unusual, collectible, “Sasha Brastoff”, serving dish is very sculptural and looks like a piece of art all on its own.
