This Rothwoman stoneware plate is a lovely drip glaze platter that is stamped "Rothwoman No Lead Stoneware" in the back. The artist behind Rothwoman Pottery, Janet Rothman, was a ceramics entrepreneur in the 1970s who sold at Renaissance Faires and later was featured in department stores. This is an earlier one of her pieces and the backstamp is reversed. The plate is 10.5 inches across, in good condition, some rough and uneven edges original to the piece. discount
