This handsome set of antique cast iron scales is embossed "FORCE 10 KILOS", and is in working order. The movement is rapid and smooth. The scales are painted silver and gold which has an antiqued look and is attractive, but I do not know if it is original or not. The buyer could certainly strip these, repaint them, or enjoy as is. This is a neat piece with some Victorian flavor, some country flavor, and some industrial flavor. They need some plates, copper or brass would be easy to find and look great. These scales will make your kitchen look tasty.
The scales measure 17.5" length x 7" width discount x 7.5" height and are nice and heavy.
There is rust on the interior of the piece. There are no cracks, rust, etc. on the exterior.
