Hand designed using a hard clay, then molded into a hard copy plaster, then molded again using a silicone rubber mold for a hard back, then hand cast into that silicone rubber mold using a mix of mineral based concrete color in water and I also mixed in a fine sand and cement into the mold. Then demolded the piece from the silicone rubber mold, hand detailed using fine metal instruments, hand colored using fine bristle brushes, and sealed with a water based concrete sealer for a smooth finish and old world patina. This Yoga frog in a lotus breathing position is the second frog designed from my collection of 5. This little guy with eyes closed, hands above his head looks so serene and peaceful. Just the way I want to look every time I meditate. He is nicely positioned on a big boulder at the top of my driveway and you can feel the instant feeling of peacefulness, calm and serenity as you pass by. A great addition to a garden filled with large leafed plants, a water feature, or just a place that one can just be! It is incredible how wonderful it feels to stretch your body and mind in ways that is healthy both emotionally and physically. A strong, healthy body promotes a strong healthy mind and spirit.
