McCoy Pottery has long been discount recognized for natural motifs and highly stylized displays as a part of their art pottery lines. This prominent piece is a prime example of that variety. Known as a Yellow Double Tulip Flower vase, it was produced in the 1950's. Front and center are two yellow tulips open and in full bloom. They are encompassed by green, leafy shoots that emanate from the base and move upward in varying lengths. Fired with green, brown and cream accents, it has a gloss clear finish.
Standing 8" tall, and 4 1/4" at the base, it blossoms upward and outward to a width of 6 5/8" wide.
Condition - Very good. Drippy glaze with a few glaze misses. no chips or cracks. Clean.
