Antique Chinese Teapot Rose Mandarin 1800s Hand Painted Asian Porcelain Tea Pot circa mid to late 1800s Damaged Lid.
Lid damaged/repaired.
Hand painted Rose Mandarin porcelain with enamel paint giving the design relief. Stunning, vibrant colors. Depictions of people in conversation, scrolling greens and reds discount with floral, foliate and bird patterns. Handle, spout and lid topknot are white with shiny gold paint trim.
The lid is damaged. It has been repaired after breakage. A small hole exists, and it is cracked.
The pot itself is in very good antique condition. Small flaked off paint in one patch. Gold trim around top is worn and not intact. Occasional mark/spot/manufacturers 'flaw'
Holds 3.5 cups. Measures 5 inches high, 8 inches spout to handle. Base is 3.5 inches across. Advise decorative use only.
