From the 60s here's a silk twill dress with matching jacket made by Montreal dressmaker Lillian Farrar. Lillian Farrar dressed Montreal society during the 1950s and 60s and other discount examples that I've had of hers have always been of excellent quality and design.
This dress is made in a sheath style, sleeveless with accentuated waist. The jacket is made with a sailor collar, 3/4 length sleeves and turned cuffs. The collar and cuffs are made in a taupe color that matches the lining, which is a taupe colored silk taffeta. The dress does up with a nylon zipper at the side.
