You may notice that I have painted this scene more than once. I am drawn to the moody sky that day. I took this photo while canoeing in Algonquin Park in Ontario. Algonquin Provincial Park is the first Provincial Park in Canada, and I love that it's massive, over 7500 square kilometres. It gives you a feeling that you really are in the wilderness, that it's still untamed.

This piece is painted on gessoed canvas adhered to an 8x10 inch panel. It will arrive discount wired, with a sawtooth picture hanger on the back, varnished and ready to hang.
