Vintage pair of Old Staffordshire Ware fruit sellers figurines. The man is marked A-224 and the woman is marked A-227. Based on my research, the lower the number, the older the piece. Are likely mid 20th century or earlier. Both have brownish jackets, yellow bottoms, and hats. They are both holding a piece of fruit in one hand & have 3 more on the other side. There is crazing on both pieces. See the photos. No cracks or chips. Very good used condition. She is approx 7"H x 2.5"W at her elbows. He discount is 6.75"H x 2.75"W at his elbows. Base is 2.25" diameter.
