Here is a vintage oil on canvas Impressionist nautical seascape painting. The artist depicted a misty harbor with some boats moored at the sides. This is very loosely painted, so a more true Impressionist piece. Impressionist pieces are better viewed from a slight distance ( 3-5 ft). It measures 18 x 24 in. and is unsigned. The left side of the canvas ( seen from the side), is painted blue but the right side is still white and unpainted. This can be framed or you can hang it on the wall as is. Someone has a wire added to the back wood stretchers to do that. I would date this item to the 1990s time period.
