Stainless steel, handmade ring, inlaid discount with malachite, crushed beads, colour pigment and glow in the dark powder

Handmade, stainless steel inlaid ring. This ring was created as a bespoke order, as the recipient loves frogs!! I designed the inlay to give an impression of the texture of frog skin, whilst still being visually abstract. It's made with crushed malachite, crushed beads, with strontium aluminium glow powders and colour pigments.

In daytime the dark, moss green and mixture of inlay, give the ring a truly unique appearance.

At night and under UV or black light, the ring changes and the shapes and forms in the inlay are illuminated from within and the ring glows with an intense green flare.

This ring started life as a solid rod of stainless steel, and many hours of intricate work and craftsmanship go into producing this stunning ring, from precise machining on the lathe, to careful combination of inlay materials to create the desired effect.

- This is an individually turned, stainless steel ring. It is NOT a bought ring blank.

- Choose a width between 5-10mm

The rings has a CA (cyanoacrylate) or superglue finish, which provides a long-lasting, waterproof and robust coating, which can be polished to a glass-like finish.

---- Sizing ----

All of these rings can be made to order in your size! UK sizes E-Z or US 3-16 are available.

These rings can be made between 5-10mm width. It needs to a wide ring to accommodate 3 channels of inlay.

Please ensure that you measure your finger correctly and specify your size upon purchase. It is highly recommended that you get your finger sized by 2-3 jewellers at different times of the day to ensure accuracy as a resizing fee may be applied if the wrong size is requested

---- Maintenance ----

It is advisable to remove the ring prior to exposing it to water for extended periods, especially if using strong detergents or thinners (nail varnish remover) as these can marr the inlay finish. Care should be taken if handling heavy item or undertaking activities that might expose the ring to relative contact with very hard surfaces. Stainless steel, although hard, will pick up scratches over time and this is to be expected and doesn't detract from the look of the ring.

Postage and packaging are free. Each ring will take 2-3 weeks to complete.

Delivery within UK is sent first class recorded and usually takes 1-3 working days to arrive.

Overseas delivery normally takes 5-10 working days but can be up to 5 weeks depending on where in the world you are. I advise allowing at least 8 weeks for your ring to arrive to avoid disappointment.
