This camel glass candy container was created solely for this one Shriner's Convention. It was the Great Lakes Convention, in Toledo, Ohio in 1971. The camel has three humps on it; there is a muzzle and bridle around the face of the camel, and the Shriner's sword, moon, and star emblem are embossed on both sides of the neck.

Approximate Creation Date: 1971 or before. Glass companies usually created their glass a couple of years before an event.

Print on the Bottom: None
Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition – There is a small chip on the base. If you do not see it in any of the other pictures, you should be able to see it in the last four pictures - where I have turned the candy container over so that you can see the entire base. In the fifth picture, it is located in the upper right corner. In the sixth picture, it is located in the lower left corner. In the seventh picture it is located on the lower right. And in the last picture, it is located on the lower left. It is on the long ledge, not the short one. It is not a large chip, but you should still be able to see it. Please use the zoom.
