Men's medieval-style "Revival" discount low boot - *soft* black (SCA, reenactment, Larp, Hema, fantasy, barefoot boot)

This is the original "Revival" low boot, extremely popular as we sold them through the years. I have a limited shipment of the softest black, but durable leather in M7-14. These are the same kind and quality of leather I got on my first pair, back in 2000, and that pair has lasted through weekly training all the way to now, in 2021 (though recently resoled).

The way our leather is cured, the final fit is done while you're wearing them--your foot is the last last! If you wear a half-size, either option is viable, going one half size down or up. If your foot is on the wide side, I'd recommend going up; if more narrow, go down.

As these are based on medieval originals, they have neither insole support nor any extra grip material on the soles. Many people put Dr. Scholl's discount or similar supports in, though historically, one could stuff them with peat or sheep's wool.

While we only have mens' sizes in black available now, they will be available in womens' sizes in brown and black by May, 2021. Mens' size 7 is roughly equivalent to a woman's size 9, while a men's size 8 is similar to a 10, though in both cases our women's sizes are a bit narrower.

As "Revival," we sold *many* pairs of this exact boot before selling the business, but, since Revival has since disappeared, we decided to bring a few pairs of these extremely popular shoes back in. Folks report that they are VERY comfortable. A couple of people even told us they were "edgy" and comfy enough that they wore them to work! My pair is one of my favorites, so I can see that...

While these are intended for SCA, LARP, HEMA, etc., they make the "10-foot" rule, they feature some modern stitches and the soles are nailed in place. We did this deliberately to keep the cost in line, and we also have some full-turned shoes in the works, for those who need to be more accurate, but who have a slightly fatter wallet!
