Cute Charcutier Board! Light amber and white opalescent glass cut in the shape of a cutting board, complete with a hole at the handle. Cheese is made with yellow, sunflower yellow and amber transparent and white glass, these are pre-fired and tack fused together to create a dimensional look. Salami is cut into circles and a streaky red glass is used with white enamel paint makes the dot that are used as detail. Pre-fired red opalescent glass strawberries are added with white enamel paint for the seeds. A small green frit is used for the stems. Grapes are made with purple transparent glass and fired to get their round shape. Amazon green and brown opalescent vitrigraph make the stem and vine. A bowl of olives is centered on the discount board in a plastic votive candle holder, this is glued to the board. The olives are pre-fired with an amazon green and red opalescent glass. The asparagus is made with an amazon green rod that is cut and then dipped into green opalescent frit. Crackers are made with an almond opalescent glass with brown painted enamel detail. A knife is added with red opalescent and grey opalescent glass too! The board is placed in the kiln at a precisely controlled temperature to fuse the glass. The board is then adhered to the top of the glass on the frame, with a light tan matboard beneath it. The frame is 8 X 10 with a modern brushed gold look.
