Vintage/Antique, 1920'S , Art Deco, Yellow discount Glass, Large Bowl, Platter, Serving Dishes, 2 Piece Set, Large Plate and Bowl, Silver Detail

This listing, is for two lovely pieces of 1920's Glassware. The set consists of a large yellow bowl and a matching large platter. The pair are footed with a silver beaded design. The edges of each dish are gently scalloped, and the internal base of each piece is white. I found this sweet set on the Big Island of Hawaii , and it miraculously made it home with me in my suitcase! The set are almost 100 years old , but are in very good condition. They are free from chips and racks , and the silver beading is intact. Both pieces are slightly square in shape, with elevated sides. The glass is a buttery yellow. This set are old but really quite lovely. The internal base of each piece has a few light scratches, and they may have the odd little scuff here and there , but this does not detract from their charm. Measurements; The bowl is discount about 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches . It is about 4 1/2 inches tall. The platter is 11 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches and is about 2 3/4 inches tall. The 2 pieces weigh a total of about 3 pounds 15 ounces
