Mauve Purple Mon Kinsha Silk 1960's Vintage Hand discount Painted Embroidered Kids at Play Japanese Haori Kimono Jacket

Vintage 60's mon kinsha water, mauve purple crepe silk haori jacket which has a design of pond ripples and and waves [Mon-kinsha is a type of chirimen silk, but is even finer and lighter crepe, with woven patterns.].
The main decoration on this kimono are small boys playing with branches of blossom and maple trees, that are expertly hand painted. 2 on the front [Pic. 3/4]and the 3 on the back [Pic. 6-8] which all have gold work embroidery on the outlines.
The lining is ivory silk that has discount bold stripes printed in candy pink and apple green [Pic. 10]

The condition of this kimono is excellent! Also comes with a pink graduated to white hand woven obijme cord fastening.

Our vintage Japanese kimono's are generally in very good to excellent condition, but may have the odd small mark or imperfection due to the age of the items, please be aware of this.

Sometimes taking photographs of silk is quite difficult to capture the true colour because of the lustre [sheen], which is why occasionally the item may appear to be a slightly different shade in the pictures.
