Art Deco Cameo Bar Pin, Sterling Silver Open Work, Filigree, Oval Shell CarvedCameo, Woman's Profile, Vintage Brooch Hallmarked discount Dark Patina

The elongated oval centerpiece combines with the shell carving of a 1930's-40's stylish woman and the dark patina of the sterling silver setting to present the art deco look of this vintage bar pin. The carving is well executed and the setting has wonderful detailing with a elaborate edging on the centerpiece and the geometric cutouts and reeding on the pin. The authentic deco era brooch is approximately 2.5 inches long and .875 inches wide. It is marked Sterling on the back with an unidentified hallmark. The brooch has a safety pin discount type clasp and is in excellent condition with a very dark patina that is a testament to its age.
