Offered here is an old hand carved piece from Ceylon featuring an elephant and a cobra wrapped around a tree.
It is in vintage condition with obvious wear and losses from age and use, there is a seperation where the snake is carved from a second piece of wood, and there is a hole for a peg where a top section of the tree would go but it is not present - see photos.
Overall it measures about 10" high, about 10" wide, and about 7" deep. The attached elephant figure measures about 4.25" discount high, about 5" long, and about 2.5" wide.
