This simple, lightweight, modern wholecloth quilt showcases cats and kittens in stripes & dots. Cute floral crowns in yellow adorn their sweet heads. Beautifully handmade for that special baby girl that grows with baby into the toddler years as well. It's perfect for gifting too!
Colors are an almost periwinkle blue (but more blue than purple), light denim blue, gray, white, mustard yellow, & black.
The front of the quilt is one piece of premium 100% cotton fabric making it a “wholecloth quilt”. The back of the quilt is cotton as well and is done in a coordinating modern print in 2 shades of blue.
I have bound the edges of the quilt in black & white stripe. It's machine sewn in place for durability. I love the way it compliments and adds interest to the quilt!
The middle layer of the quilt is premium quality 100% cotton batting. Washing will soften the quilt and give you that desired traditional “puckered look” just like grandma used to make. Simply machine wash separately in cool water & tumble dry on low. I have quilted the layers together on my longarm quilting machine with a beautiful modern swirl design that adds beautiful texture and durability to the quilt. The stitches are consistent & even. You will love the quality of this handmade quilt!

I have prewashed the fabric before assembling this quilt, but the finished quilt has not been washed. Frequent washings only soften the quilt.
