On the windiest of days, you can hear discount the waves crashing, before you see their white bubbles falling along the shore line. The turquoise water of Exuma, the blue sky, palm trees sitting on the top of the hills. A painter just cant resist the chance to paint and try to capture the scene. A bit of texture of thicker watercolour paint lines some of the waves and grass.
Exuma the Bahamas is a place I love to paint and I hope you will enjoy being able to imagine yourself walking along this beach. Deep rich greens along the landscape, endless white sand to walk in, warm breathtaking views of little islands in the distance. I often walk along the beach, soaking in the sun and sense of freedom, before I find just the right spot to set up my painting supplies.
When framing this painting, consider a natural wood tone, to bring out the beige and white sand colours.
