Bolt Action Pen with a bit of history. A tiny piece from a beam of Independence Hall embedded in the body, and discount "We the People" displayed

A bit of history in this Bolt Action Salute the Troops themed pen, with a chip from a beam of Independence Hall embedded in the lower body and "We the People" from the Declaration of Independence in the upper. During renovations of the hall in 1897 some of the original discount Oak and Cedar beams were replaced. The removed beams were stored for preservation by private collectors. For the Bicentennial in 1976, a limited number of chips were cut and sold. This pen contains chip number 1396, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the provider of the material. The Resin cap and body were turned by me in my workshop.
