Vintage Vogue Toddles Composition 1945-49, Eight Inches discount Tall

We are pleased to offer for sale this charming vintage composition 8" Toddles doll that dates back to 1945 and was made by the Vogue Doll company. This was the doll that came just before their popular Ginny doll. She measures 8 inches tall and has a blond mohair wig that is parted in the center with straight bangs and braided pig tails. She has very good facial paint with red lips, cheek blush, blue discount side glancing eyes, painted curled lashes and brown eyebrows. She is marked on the back of her neck "VOGUE" and on her body "DOLL CO." She came to us from the original owner and was dressed in a navy blue cotton voile dress with crocheted trim on the bodice and a ribbon bow at the waist and matching navy panties . The dress has a hook and eye closure and has the early "VOGUE" blue script label (this may be an early Ginny dress, but it's what she had on" and also blue center snap shoes. There are pink ribbons in her hair also. She is in very good condition for her age and her outfit is really very, very good. The set comes to you from a SMOKE FREE home and will be a great addition to any collection.
