A nice, rare offering of a West German vase in the always appreciated “Moon Crater” decor in a gnarly mix of browns, black, frothy white and blue. Designed in the 1960 by Dieter Peter for Carstens Tönnieshof. This was part of Carsten's discount high-end line of Luxus home decor. Form 7808-15.
In very good vintage condition with no cracks, hairlines or crazing. There are a few fleabites along the bottom as well as some other minimal damage (see all pictures). Price reflects condition.
Reads "W - Germany / 7808-15" on the bottom. The Carstens symbol is also apparent.
Measures ~6” (15 cm) wide x 2.75” (7 cm) deep x ~6” (15 cm) tall.
