Product code: Ladies Bucherer 17 Jewel Watch Set Changeable discount Enamel Bezels Bands Case Swiss
Vintage Bucherer 17 jewel ladies wristwatch in fitted case with four interchangeable enameled bezels and six matching bands. Very pretty and dainty. Tough for me to date this, but based on the bands I'd guess 60s. Watch itself is in good condition; most importantly, it works! Seems to keep pretty good time. The crystal is plastic & does have discount some scratches, not noticeable and invisible to me until I was looking through the camera lens. The watch itself measures 17mm across, 8mm thick. Marked on the back: 5 1277. Marked on the side in very tiny letters: "PLAQUE G20 MICRONS SAD" (i.e., gold plated.) Bezels are in good condition; the brass might benefit from polishing but the enamel is in good shape, no chips/cracks. Bands show some wear. Case is rough. I did not try to clean it. The interior has extensive staining, and the foam under the lining inside the lid has degraded. (And I disagree completely with the note! It opens quite easily, all you have to do is push the button.).
