Madame Alexander 'Madame Doll' #1460; with box discount and booklet; 1967

Inspired by story book 'The secret of Madame Doll' by Frances Cavanah; she has a secret pocket in her petticoat. She is a very pretty vinyl doll with lovely blonde ringlets. The cap and dress are 1780's style, to go along with the book. The dress is light pink, with some peachy undertones. She is a sleepy-eyed doll, which means when you lay her down her eyes close, and they open when you stand her back up.

Madame doll comes in her original box, with a booklet. She does not have a stand or the original certificate. She measures approximately 13 1/2" high, depending on how you measure with the puffy cap.

I found her at a flea market. The box has some condition issues - please see the last picture. The doll comes 'as is' - I wiped down her face and hands, but made no other attempt to clean. I also did not fully undress her, but did check and make sure her joints work, and that the sleepy eyes are fully functioning. She is in overall good shape, but I note a few minor things below. Please also use photos as reference as part of the description.
- On the petticoat near the secret pocket there is a red mark
- All clothing needs laundering with some potential additional care needed on ribbons which have spots, and the cap which has some yellowing. -
- Her arms have a couple of smudges that did not come off with a general wipe down (see pics).
