Discount Cheerful by Palmer Brown 1957 Children's Story: precious nostalgic sweet story-50s children's book-easter story-country story

This is a sweet little book I picked up years ago. However, some books need to be released to make room for new items.

This is in very good used condition: the dustcover is almost in tack (see the picture of a bit missing along the spine) with some writing in ink on the back cover (see picture). There are some tears along the edge of the dust cover and there is a brown spot where a price tag once lived. The hardcover underneath is in lovely condition with great colour. There are brown spots on the dustcover, on the interior of the hardcover (where the dustcover flaps are lifted, see photos), and along the edges of the pages. I personally do not notice any strong musty smells coming from it.


It is sweet Easter tale of a city mouse who years to be in the discount country.

All pages are intact, no repairs.

This is an early edition, I do not know if it is the first edition or not. There is a price on the dust cover of $1.95, if that information is useful.
