Offered here is a Wirgin Edinex I 35mm camera with a 50mm F4.5 Ennatar lens in a rare Kodak shutter. This unit is in good working condition. The only flaw is the slow speeds, which are very slow. If you intend to use this camera, it would benefit from a CLA but it is being sold “as is”.
The Edinex viewfinder cameras for 35mm film were made by Gebr Wirgin in Wiesbaden. The first model was introduced in the mid-1930s, though this variation that is being offered for sale was first sold in 1951. This camera features a Ennatar 50mm F4.5 lens. This camera is a rarer model to begin with, but its most interesting feature is the shutter: a Kodak-branded shutter which is very rarely seen on these cameras. This is a very unique example of a Wirgin Edinex I that would make discount a great addition to any collection. Why not make it yours today?
