This is a very attractive hand-colored postcard showcasing Columbia University's Journalism School building in Morningside Heights. Also pictured is Furnald Hall, a student residence. Construction of both the Journalism School and Furnald discount Hall were completed in 1913. In 1917, the Journalism School awarded the first Pulitzer Prizes. Vintage is 1913-29. It is postally unused and in excellent condition. The postcard comes in an 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 black easel-back frame with 1-color mat. For the old school alumnus or Columbia Journalism graduate. Makes a great anniversary or birthday gift. A hard-to-find vintage collectible!
