Earthy and Eclectic! This necklace features a large dalmatian jasper carved gemstone rose flower pendant. The pendant is thick and chunky, has some weight but is not excessively heavy. It has shades of creamy beige/gray colors with black dots and some tan/brown inclusions. The front side is carved into a lovely rose flower shape. The backside is smooth and somewhat rounded (not carved). I created the pendant bail with a rustic wrap of brass wire. The pendant dangles below a handmade rosary style beaded chain of red bend jasper and dalmatian jasper round gemstone beaded links. The red bend jasper gemstones have shades of earthy reds, creams, beige, and gray. Two double dalmatian jasper gemstones with antiqued brass plated rhinestone studded spacer beads add an eclectic flair and a bit of sparkle to the necklace. The beads and pendant are hand wrapped with brass wire, patinated and hand polished to give the wire more of an aged, antiqued finish. The wire will develop a medium brown (antiqued, less brassy) patina over time. This necklace is approximately 18 1/2" long with the pendant adding an additional 1 3/4" drop.
