Original watercolour painting of a Giant Bird of Paradise - Strelitzia Nicolai. We have a huge plant in our backyard, and the flowers bloom at the height of our deck, so we can see them close up! I love that these flowers are so different from the standard orange and blue of the Strelitzia Reginae. Instead, discount the flowers are a deep blue/black, with white and a touch of pink. The leaves give it a very tropical feel that is calming and refreshing, and the birds love dipping into the flowers to get nectar.
This original painting is A4 size and unframed. The watercolour has been sealed, but it would be best to frame this with a matte, so that the painting does not touch the glass.
The painting will be signed on the front.
