Art doll/ ooak/ doll/ discount tree/ decoration/ sculpture/ Blossom

This is Blossom. She is a baby tree and is the 2nd in my Tree doll series. She discount only has three branches but hopes to one day be tall with many branches.

I make imaginative dolls out of recycled items such as glass, wood, and plastic. Most of my dolls also have wire in them. To make each doll I first make an armature and then make the doll over top. I stuff the doll with poly-fill as needed. Each doll is unique and made by hand. No doll can be duplicated.

Blossom is made from a small vase and is stuffed with poly-fill. Her branches are made out of wire. Her dress and skin are crocheted on with acrylic yarn. Her hair in a variegated yarn.
