A beautiful French antique handmade inkwell from the 1920's. It has been created with pieces of natural seashells, scallop shells and beach sand. The colorful piece displays a glass ink pot with its metal lid. This sea shell art was a souvenir of the French mediterranean city Palavas-les-Flots, France. It displays an anchor with a print depicting an ocean liner.

This kind of seashell inkwell used to be French holidays souvenir. When you look at it on your desk, it's as if you were on holidays.

Please take a close look at the photos, they are an integral part of the description. Nice vintage condition with some normal signs of ages on seashells, rust on the metal lid and wears on the painting.
