Lightweight for its size.The brooch is made of salvaged layered antique and vintage textiles and trims, intuitively stitched together. The focal point is antique looking cameo with decoupage fragment of pre-raphaelite painting. The cameo is surface treated to look antique and weathered/worn with crackled varnish, bronze paint. Sealed with matte varnish for moisture and weather-proof. The cameo is surrounded with golden passementerie trim and beading, brooch is accentuated with beads, vintage finds, pearls, crystals. The brooch can be worn as pendant necklace- it has beaded loop at top and comes with dusty pink organza ribbon. Backed with bronze leather and has secure pin to fasten.
Measurements appr. 7 cm wide x 18 cm high. Comes in a custom carboard box.
